Administration Assistant
(Apprentice Role)
37 hrs/wk TTO plus one week
Grade B2 (£17,248 actual pro rata annual salary)
A popular, vibrant and continuously improving school The Winchcombe is seeking an enthusiastic person to join our busy admin team as an apprentice. The apprenticeship, for a Level 3 Business Administration Diploma, will take up to 18 months and full training will be provided at the school and via the West Berkshire Training Consortium.
A full-time permanent position is on offer on completion of the apprenticeship.
We are looking for a motivated individual who has:
- an enthusiastic approach to work, a willingness to learn and an understanding that first impressions count;
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team;
- a working knowledge of computing systems eg Microsoft Office & Excel is desirable; training on SIMS will be given;
- the ability to work under pressure with a flexible approach and a willingness to undertake any general administrative tasks;
- the ability to work calmly in a busy reception office.

Lunchtime Controllers - CURRENT VACANCIES
Lunchtime Controllers
We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic team-players to ensure the safety, welfare and good behaviour of our pupils during the midday break.
This role is for 1.5 hours, 5 days a week (7.5 hours per week term time only contract), starting as soon as possible and will involve lifting tables and chairs, and cleaning.
Hours will be 11:45 to 13:15, Monday to Friday, Term Time only.
Hourly pay is £10.59, pay increase pending.
