Foundation Stage 1, is our nursery class called 'Acorns', for which children can enter from the term after they turn 3, with a new intake at the beginning of each term*. There is a morning session which runs from 9.00am until 12.00pm, and an afternoon session running from 12.00pm until 3.00pm.

Foundation Stage 2, is our full time reception for which there are two classes called 'Seedlings' and 'Saplings'.

Overall, we provide a safe, secure, enriching environment encompassing a varied mix of teacher led and child initiated learning throughout the day. Children are encouraged to develop their own interests through exploration, meeting challenges and learning together. Working in close partnership with parents, new experiences and opportunities are provided by the skilled Foundation Team.

* You are able to register your interest in a place in the part time Nursery once your child is 2. The length of time on the waiting list does not affect your chance of obtaining a place. You must register interest by certain dates to ensure your application is not "late".  Please see the Nursery Admissions policy download below for more information.

New September 2020 Intake

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 situation, we have been unable to arrange a parents meeting in July, and children's trial sessions as we usually would. Please therefore take a look at the attachments below, including a powerpoint show about our setting and what to expect (which can also be downloaded from below should you wish).
